Parris was there. Was sitting with the rest of the ex players in West Upper.
Jimmy Walker, Chris Powell, Hitzelsperger, Martin Allen, Green, Ilunga among others you didn't see on screen or on the pitch.
Had a long chat with Hitzelsperger and Allen. Hitzelsperger was surprisingly a very humble guy who was saying he was really worried about turning up as he felt a bit of a fraud. Was very apologetic, said he felt he owed us a lot and wanted to stay in London but the board essentially told him they wanted his wages off the books so he left.
Also spoke to Ilunga a few times. He seemed genuinely overwhelmed that I'd even recognised him(not many others had and he was just sitting on his own).

He was caught in traffic and had zero chance of making the game and so just turned back home.

I heard that there were over 150 ex players there so most of those mentioned below were probably there. The players in the taxis who were introduced were player of the year winners.
It would have been better if all the ex players walked around the pitch as their names were read out.

Ray Stewart was there as they interviewed him on TalkSport yesterday morning waiting to catch his flight from Edinburgh.
Apparently there were over 200 ex players there so probably don't know exactly who was there as they were not introduced.
Maybe that bit was cut due to the 45 minute delay.
Admit though it was strange who the ones interviewed were.

I know that everyone can't be there but the list of players who should have been there but weren't is quite long.
No Tevez? They could have got him to record something.

Plus Geoff Hurst.
No mention of King, Paynter or Fenton.
All very unsatisfactory.

Yes it's a shame some couldn't make it for various reasons. Footballers tend to be a rather emotional lot which might account for some noteable absentees
Regarding Bonzo, I thought he didn't look at all well on "The Boleyn Boys"
